GTPlay.com seen by his Webmaster
Hello, I am Frizzou (Christophe in real life ), here the sympathic history of a site about Gran Turismo: The history of GTPlay.com begins in July 2001, with the launch of Gran Turismo 3, this sympathic "ride" towards what was going to become a few months later GTPlay.com is resulting from two sources, even three... At this time, good number of the actors of this project (and myself) were members of the Gran Turismo 3 board of jeuxvideo.com of which I was going tardily to become moderator (December 2001), but also on the website granturismo3.fr.st, held by SuperYoh who went very quickly to propose championships on various surfaces (Road Car, Rally Car, WP Championship...). The first major events occur during this summer 2001: Indeed, at this time the ¾ users of the forum of jeuxvideo.com were also users of gt3.fr.st, on a side we had the website and other a community forming a very beautiful virtual history, because all of this was not going to stop there! After a first virtual championship, won by myself on August 11, 2001, the users of the two entities were interested in the idea to make evolve/move this already very splendid championship in solo by a championship by teams, that was ChildrenOv2KoRn which struck the first a certain evening of August by announcing its desire to create its TEAM, the B.O.C Racing TEAM, very implied by the idea, me, Porlus and others followed it within this team which exists still today (and directed by... that which one sometimes calls "the Big Boss", as known as me ). But only one team did not have really future and great names from on our premises were going to follow the movement, SuperYoh and JuanPablo with Oreca, Zell with Neo, Zonda, RCW, CGV and the others in ATC, as well as V12 with Cheubeu or Buthane and many other Teams... And in spite of the bursting of almost all these teams having found asylum at the BOC, all those there still make party integral from near or by far of the community. But this type of championship, nor even the payment of granturismo3.fr.st were not appropriate for a championship by teams. I remember, it was the evening of the re-entry 2001, we were about thirty joined together on a chat led by SuperYoh, JuanPablo and myself, and it is in hardly 1h that we established the outlines of a championship gathering a half dozen teams of 6 pilots (the addition is simplistic) who were going to clash on a championship being calibrated on a half of year and officiating independently a classification of the pilots and a classification of the teams, with the manner of the formule1: the WP Cup.
Obviously the competitions proceeded on granturismo3.fr.st but the accustomed were still using the board from jeuxvideo.com or besides all the topics of the handles of championship there laid out (in spite of a regulator not good...).
voilà ce que j'ai fait, bon courage pour la suite

Hello, I am called Curly Head (In real life, Christophe), this is Gran tourismo website true story:
It begin in July 2001 with Gran Tourismo 3’s launch, there is at least 2 or 3 reasons that gave birth to this beautiful adventure: GTPlay.com that will came out of ground a few month latter….
At that time, many people working on this project (and myself) were on the gran tourismo pages of the “jeuxvideo.com” website, witch eventually offers me a place as moderator (December 2001), but we also were on granturismo3.fr.st, SuperYoh’s website, and him, who quickly set up the idea of championship on all sort of grounds (road car, rally car, gt championship ….)
First events to take account, took place during summer 2001: at that time, we could say that tree quarter of the people on jeuxvideo.com, were also on gt3.fr.st, on one size we had the website and on the other, a brand new community gathering from all around, here the journey begins
After the first virtual championship, which was won no less by myself on august 2001, users of both websites took the idea of virtual championship on another level, bringing it into a team experience. It was ChildrenOv2KoRn who first make a wish of forming his team( the B.O.C, beware of children) very attracted to the idea, porlus, me and some others joined around him and create one that nowadays still is( conduct by the one they once called “big chief”: myself). But one could not have done, so others follow the lead, SuperYoh and JuanPablo( les oreca), Zell( les néo), Zonda, RCW, CGV, and all the one from ATC, along with the V12( les Chebeu), or the Buthane, and many more of them…Despite the popping of almost every team that was with B.O.C, they still are part of our community somehow
But as no type of championship, nor gt3.fr.st rules fitted to a team championship, we took a stand: On a night of September 2001, we were about 30 on a gloomy chat, hold by SueperYoh, JuanPablo and myself, and within the hour we design what will become the GT Cup. A championship gathering 6 team of 6 players, who will compete on a half a year period, with both a team and a players chart
mais on travail dessus avec DJ............
on en a profité pour corriger le texte original, car ya des truc qui veulent rien dire.
on se depeche de traduire la suite...
